It does not mention Long Ashton, but it is interesting to see the time scales for a new school in Congresbury: the community has expressed their wish 'for some time', the news has been announced Sep 08, and (as long as there are no objections) the new school could be in place in Sep 09.

Thank you to all those involved in chairing the meeting in Long Ashton last month. It's a huge challenge that we face, but I was happy that those chairing the meeting challenged us to fight the issue of Long Ashton schools with a positive attitude.
