Hiya. Don't panic, you're doing a grand job and you've nearly cracked it! Just go to the white doc image above the textbox to upload a file. Browse to where it is, and select it. It will embed a long string of text, as you saw. Don't worry about this, just post the blog post. The long string of text will turn into an underlined link with just the file name showing. Let me know if there's still a problem. Tabs

Great news! I'll add that to the article and watch this space. And thanks again for hosting us all the over evening! Tabs

Hi Natalie. I've written the draft for the LA Direct newsletter, and Anna has proofed it. We just need to add the date for the meeting before sending it for printing. Do you know when we can use the Hall? Cheers, Tabs

Sorry for delay in replying. I think the consultation period may be over, but still worth sending an email. At least we have all this year to try to keep up the pressure to get it changed. I spoke to the head of Flax last week just to keep her up to date I think she will keep up the pressure she does not think it is fair.

Hi Natalie. Please feel free to drop by if you would like to pick up a hard copy of the petition. I'll be home from about 3.00 tomorrow. Alternatively, Tamar has uploaded a copy of the petition to the site, so you should be able to print from there. Thanks for your help with this.

About Me:
I am mother to Archie (3) and Alice (2). Archie has a place at Flax in Sep 2008 and Alice will be in the school year starting Sep 2010. My concerns are for the people who have not been allocated a place at any of our 3 local schools this year, the future allocations and the change in the sibling rule.

Meetings and Dates

Thanks everyone for all the constructive comments on Sunday. I certainly felt that there was lots of energy and will to carry through a concerted campaign so hopefully that was shared. The notes on what was discussed are below but the main dates for you all (ie. everyone on the blog and all your concerned friends) are the 'public meeting' on June 4th Wednesday 7.30 at Keedwell Church and a meeting to prepare for this at Hannah's house 8.00pm Tuesday May 20th. Hope to see you all there.… Continue
