About Me:
I have lived in Long Ashton all my life, I attended Birdwell School as a child and would have liked my daughters to attend it too.

Our daughter has been allocated Flax Bourton, which is a great school and we are lucky. But I am still up for helping fight the council over this issue. Particularly the sibling ruling as our other daughter Ella is due to start school 2010, the council must change this ruling it is completely unfair, as we did want our closest school but were not given a place.

Update from Parish Council - Parish Voice 8 May 2008

Charles Cave has been in touch to keep us up to date regarding the 'Parish Voice' which he attended at the Central Area Committee meeting on 8 May 2008. The Central Area Committee hear views of the Parish Councils and public on particular issues which are of concern to them in the particular area. I have been working with Hannah on finding out who and how we complain about this situation.
