I know we previously had figures from the council based on doctor's records for children born in long ashton, which is how they did their forecasting, but given that some families chose to be registered outside the village maybe where they used to live or near to their work I thought it may be helpful to the cause to confirm local records of children in the village who will be starting school over the next few years with the health visitor. Meeting is at 4.30pm in the Guide Hut. I think it would be a great opportunity for someone to get involved who has future years interest. We are almost bound to concentrate on getting our children schooled this year but we must not loose sight of the necessity of a longer term solution.
If you would like to attend, it would probably be best to inform the meeting organiser (via Tamar Sutton) in an attempt to keep them onside!
