Not he/she again. It's a definate he...
When I joined the group, I said I did not know whether we'll be able to get a place for the new child were expecting.
Well, I still don't know.
What I can tell you though is that in July this year (i.e., 2008), the child was was born and it was a he. We're pleased but still are uncertain about school places.
Long Ashton is a great place to live in and I'm sure more and more people would move in within the next 4 years. So I think the problem about school places would even become acute. Let's hope that what is now clearly a crisis is not going to become even worse.
I understand a lot of people are working behind the background to find solutions and I can only say as we say back in Ghana "more grease to your elbows".
Meanwhile, although it seems these are early days for me to worry a lot about a school place for our boy, I suppose there are many people who were in similar situations like us and are now facing the crisis.
So whilst we (my wife and I) try to find a nursery place for Jilma, let me reiterate my offer to help in anyway I can if called upon by any parent or the group in general.
Best wishes
Abdul
